Knitting lesson

This young woman was knitting on the train - obviously an early stab at it. An old woman - a complete stranger - sat down next to her, and proceeded to give her a long knitting lesson. At one point after I stopped filming, the old woman took the girl's hands in her own and showed her how to use her pinkies to train the yarn, making it an easier flow. Lovely.

SF MUNI's Best Driver

Matt always waits for old people to sit down before he starts the bus. He announces the stops in English, Chinese and Spanish. He pronounces "Pacheco" correctly. The automated MUNI announcement doesn't, and this drives me crazy, because Pacheco is one of my family's surnames. Matt rules.

Birdsong and Bus Engine

I send a ridiculous amount of my time waiting for buses. I hate it. I really do. This chorus of birdsong made it a bit easier to stomach, today. Too bad the bus that came and made a racket wasn't mine. BTW, this is the same spot where the bird shit all over me a few weeks back.

Riding to Walgreen's

Everything is at least a bus ride away from me. Running out of rubber cement in the middle of a project meant taking two buses into "town." At least it's mostly a scenic ride.
