When I take this route home - which is even longer than the usual route - I get to ride on Great Highway for a stretch, right on the beach, really.  The dozens of Porta-Potties are left over from bay to Breakers.  I love the ocean.

Beach Horses

Had the day off, and spent a chunk of it at the ocean. Perfect thing to do in the middle of the week.  watched the mounted police giving their horses some exercise.
