Rise and Freakin' Shine

I need to rig up some sort of timer or remote control so that I can get my morning coffee brewed in the Bialetti without having to get out of bed. It's shocking how many grunty noises I make in the morning, as my back adjusts to being upright.

Breakfast on a cloudy Sunday morning. Spinach and tomato omelet, hummus, an indulgent slice of white bread with butter. A piping hot cup of coffee.

Coffee Break

This is the closest I can get to home-style cafe con leche outside of my kitchen. A double shot of espresso, topped up with French roast, and a shot of Half-and-Half. I love the women at my coffee spot. They get my espresso going as soon as they see me coming, and they let me pay later,w hen I don't have any cash.

Goddard in the Morning

This is me going to get a third cup of coffee this morning. Winter in Plainfield, Vermont. I am now sufficiently caffeinated.
